Something for Nothing

Today my dear sweet mother in law spent her entire day running from house to house, cleaning an unslightly home, finding items to fill a home, and working her poor little heart out to make a house a home for an extremely needy family. Our friends, the Hayes, brought a family with 6 children, 3 of whom are dwarfs, from Iraq to live here in Kuna. They came with basically nothing and Susan worked long and hard to make sure that when they got here, they had everything they needed! She was able to get 6 beds donated, a couch, table, bedding, kitchen necessities, toys, blankets, clothing, tv, just about everything for this needy family.

I posted an ad on craigslist looking for any type of donations and was able to find people who were willing to donate diapers, wipes, food, a convertable crib, clothing, dishes, toys and even a free 6 month membership from Randy to Freedom Fitness for the entire family!

Susan is my absolute hero, doing so much hard work for absolutely nothing in return, not even the credit of doing it. But i wanted to give her that credit because it is WELL deserved!

This family has become friends with Matt Roloff from TLC's Little People, Big World and we have watched their story and are very excited to have them here!

I just thought it was necessary to post a blog thanking Susan and everyone who helped and donated items. It's always nice to hear/see good things happening, even in this "never hear about the good news" world!
So thanks Susan!
