FaThEr and SoNs CaMpOuT

Last weekend my boys got to go on their very first Father Son's campout and are lucky enough to have had Grandpa go too. They ended up swimming for 3 hours (straight) and Landen had a lot of fun running around with some boys that were close to his age! They took the trailor and it had rained that night, by the time they had woken up, everyone was already packing up and getting ready to head out. Apparently all those "tent" people :-) had been rained on all night. By the sounds of it, all 3 had a great time.
While they were gone Kaylee and I had a "girls night" and invited Holly and her little girl Maya over. It was fun! I just love both those girls!!

Something for Nothing

Today my dear sweet mother in law spent her entire day running from house to house, cleaning an unslightly home, finding items to fill a home, and working her poor little heart out to make a house a home for an extremely needy family. Our friends, the Hayes, brought a family with 6 children, 3 of whom are dwarfs, from Iraq to live here in Kuna. They came with basically nothing and Susan worked long and hard to make sure that when they got here, they had everything they needed! She was able to get 6 beds donated, a couch, table, bedding, kitchen necessities, toys, blankets, clothing, tv, just about everything for this needy family.

I posted an ad on craigslist looking for any type of donations and was able to find people who were willing to donate diapers, wipes, food, a convertable crib, clothing, dishes, toys and even a free 6 month membership from Randy to Freedom Fitness for the entire family!

Susan is my absolute hero, doing so much hard work for absolutely nothing in return, not even the credit of doing it. But i wanted to give her that credit because it is WELL deserved!

This family has become friends with Matt Roloff from TLC's Little People, Big World and we have watched their story and are very excited to have them here!

I just thought it was necessary to post a blog thanking Susan and everyone who helped and donated items. It's always nice to hear/see good things happening, even in this "never hear about the good news" world!
So thanks Susan!

All wrapped up!

So in the mist of unpacking i came across this GIANT roll of seran wrap and thought it would be really fun to play with it. So i wrapped up Warren with Landen's help. First just his legs, thinking that would be it, but then it quickly turned into a whole body wrap. It was really funny. Then Landen got jealous so he wanted to be wrapped up, i once again, started at his legs, but then he got a little scared, so i pretty much forced him down and continued to wrap him up. (i know, i'm so mean) but once he was completely wrapped he thought it was pretty cool.

Landen and Warren started running around, completely unable to stop themselves if they were to fall. landen fell a couple times from running, landing straight on his face, but he just laid there and laughed. Which was good because after seeing that i about peed my pants laughing so hard! Then Warren showed Landen how to do the worm and THAT was hysterical!

I don't remember the last time i laughed so hard! It was a lot of fun!

Silly things that entertain us i guess!!

Graduation Pics!

Here are some pictures from Warren's graduation. I am so proud of you Warren! You worked so hard and did so awesome!! Way to go babe! I love you!

Susan made these really cute shirts for the kids to wear and surprise dad!

The totally awesome bouncy house, it was a hit, i must say!

Look at that adorable little pose from Kaylee! a pro already!

Landen, Tyler and Zac had the most fun in the bouncy house!!

We are back in business Folks!

Well its been way too long since i've been able to keep everyone posted on our lives, not to mention, keeping updated on everyone else's!!! We FINALLY have internet and after reading through my THOUSANDS of unread emails, i FINALLY get to check and update our blog! yay!! We have officially moved in! Pictures are on the walls, MOST of the boxes are empty and broken down, and HALF of the garage is clean. It has been a ton of work but SOOOO much fun!! We had forgotten what it was like to live alone! It's like been newlyweds all over! ;-0! We have had 2 big parties already.

Warren FINALLY graduated on May 16th! It was so much fun to go to his graduation. The kids were great, and Landen enjoyed watching and screaming at Daddy from a distance! We came home and had a HUGE BBQ party with tons of friends and family. We had well over 50 people in and out that day. At the same time we were also celebrating Landen's 3rd birthday. So we rented a bouncy house (which was really more fun for the adults than it was the kids). Landen had chosen a Spongebob theme so I made a totally awesome Spongebob cake by hand., it really did turn out awesome and i was way proud of myself. It was a lot of fun! We have so many great friends and family who all came to support and congratulate Warren and of course, spoil little Landen! Warren is still looking for a job. He has been working on a prospect for a banking position but we will see what happens there.

Warren and i took Landen out for a day of fun on his actual birthday. We went to Monkey Bizness for the first time and it was a blast!! It was cheap, and way fun for the whole family!! If you haven't gone, its a must!!! I'm not sure who had more fun, us or the kids.

Kaylee is just turned 8 months! She is still not crawling, i don't think she ever will. She will roll all over. It'll take her mere seconds to get from one end of the house, around the corner and down the hall. I'm still trying to figure out how she does it so well!

As for me, i ended up getting the job i wanted but decided to turn it down. i was pretty bummed because i wanted the job, but knew that i wouldn't be able to be away from the kids that much. So now i'm just home with the kids and still watching other kids. I'm hoping to get my daycare license soon and able to watch more kids.

Anyway, theres just a few updates on us. We are doing wonderful and enjoying the warm weather we've had! I took Landen to roaring springs the other day and it was wonderful!!! He had a blast and i'm so looking forward to using our season passes as much as we can!!! The next morning he told Warren he wanted to go to the Ocean, he's definately my little guy!!! When i have a little more time, i will post pictures!!
