Faith is like a little seed....

When planted it will grow!

Last week in Primary Landen planted his very first little seed and waited and waited for it to grow. Well today, as we were watering it, guess what we found?! That's right! 4 or 5 little green stems! Landen was SOOOO excited! He wanted me to put it down so he could watch it grow! :-) He was so proud of it and i was so very excited for him! I don't even have a clue what it is but Landen informs me its "just a flower."

February's Budget in Review

I pulled out all my receipts for February to toss out the ones we don't need and thought i would make a grand total for the month of February. So are you ready for this?! (Warren, i suggest you stop reading right about.................... HERE..................)

Grand total spent = $ 276.83 (don't drop your jaw just yet!) This total includes all our groceries, toiletries and even clothing! This total does not include $31.50 in rebates (hopefully getting next week), 8 MOVIE TICKETS, and $25 in target gift cards. SOOOO if you were to subtract all of that, it would come to about $148.33 (pricing movie tickets at $9 each)
Grand total SAVED = $589.11!!! Wowsers!
Yes, i spent more than usual for last month, but with our tax refund, it was worth it. Oh, but this price didn't include our new $800 toy and Landen's $300 toy (to be posted shortly)

All in all, it was a great month, and i think savings wise, March has already beat out February. And less out of my pocket as well! GOTTA LOVE THOSE COUPONS! :-)

Did you miss us?!

Hello again!! My mom called me a few days ago and asked if i had posted any new blogs lately or "if it was just her computer." I figured that was my hint-hint from her, so i will get some updates done while Warren is cooking dinner! (Yes, you heard me right, Warren is on dinner-duty tonight!) Where to start.... Well, there's too much to play catch up on, so i'll just post a little about the last couple weeks and some cute pics.....

Daddy flipping Landen...

Then of course Kaylee had to have a turn!

Kaylee's new dress i found for $5 at shopko! Sooo adorable!

Watching a movie before bed time in Landen's bed.

Kaylee has FINALLY upgraded to a big girl car seat and boy does she LOVE it! Everytime we pull out of the drive way she says, "WWWWEEEEEEE!"

Playing in the snow!

They are so funny!

Landen started "playschool" 2 weeks ago and he has been really enjoying it! He gets to make 2 crafts a day and he loves coming home to show me. He always makes sure there's one craft for mommy and one for daddy! He's so sweet! He talks about his day for a good 30 minutes after he gets home! He is so helpful and such a good big brother! It's a lot of fun watching him learn and the things he picks up on! Landen is still in the 75% for his height and weight and perfectly proportioned at 50%. He is all Warren!

Kaylee has REALLY grown up the last few weeks, there is no more baby left in her! She is so sweet and small and LOUD! She is LOVING be able to rough house with Landen and chasing him everywhere. She is such a goof and enjoys being the center of attention and making everyone laugh! Although she is still our itty bitty shes finally starting to fit in her 12 month clothing! They are ginormous on her but wearable. She is in the 5% for height and weight but perfectly proportioned at 50% and she is ALL mommy! (funny how that works!) She will start nursery in 2 weeks and it is a bitter-sweet feeling for us but we are excited!

Warren he is still THOROUGHLY enjoying his job! It's always fun to listen to his stories about all the "bad guys" he got during the day. Some people are so stupid! He has been getting a lot of stops lately and has been at the top of region's APAs. Warren recently did the Penguin Plunge at work to help raise money for the Special Olympics. He jumped at midnight and it was absolutely FREEEEEEZING outside, even in my coat, gloves and hat! I DID NOT pitty him that night! But Warren stripped down to just swim trunks and jumped in the ice cold dirty city water!

As for me, nothing much new has been going on. I was released from 2 callings in our ward and now am just on the Relief Society board which i have enjoyed! I have only been having 1 extra daycare kid so that has been nice to have a couple days of free time during the week! I have been having a BLAST with my couponing lately and really enjoying seeing just how far i can stretch my $! (pictures to come!) I've also been making hair bows and having fun with that. (pictures also to come soon!)
